Love your Angels and they will always be there for you and help you immensely. Only when we get to heaven will realize all that our angels did for us in this life.

Guardian Angel Prayer

O Holy Angel

Attendant of my wretched soul and of my afflicted life, forsake me not, a sinner, neither depart from me for my inconstancy. Give no place to the evil demons to subdue me with the oppression of this mortal body; but take me by my wretched and outstretched hand, and lead me in the way of salvation.

Yes, O Holy Angel of God, the guardian and protector of my hapless soul and body, forgive me all things whatsoever wherewith I have troubled thee, all the days of my life, and if I have sinned in anything this day. Shelter me in this present night and keep me from every affront of the enemy, lest I anger God by any sin; and intercede with the Lord in my behalf, that He might strengthen me in the fear of Him, and make me a worthy servant of His goodness and last but most importantly dearest Guardian of my soul never allow me to forsake Jesus my Lord in anyway, lest I loose forever my salvation. Amen

A prayer to our Guardian Angel

Holy Angel, to whose care God in his mercy hath committed me, I return thee now my most sincere and humble thanks: I petition thee, O most amiable guide, to continue still thy care; to defend me against my enemies; to remove from me the occasions of sin; to obtain for me a constant docility to divine inspirations; to protect me in particular at the hour of my death; and then to conduct me to the mansions of eternal repose, where, in thy blessed society, I may praise our Creator for ever. Amen.

St. Gertrude’s Guardian Angel Prayer

O most holy angel of God, appointed by God to be my guardian, I give you thanks for all the benefits which you have ever bestowed on me in body and in soul. I praise and glorify you that you condescended to assist me with such patient fidelity, and to defend me against all the assaults of my enemies. Blessed be the hour in which you were assigned me for my guardian, my defender and my patron. In acknowledgment and return for all your loving ministries to me, I offer you the infinitely precious and noble heart of Jesus and firmly propose to obey you hence-forward and most faithfully to serve my God. Amen.

Holy Angels

Heavenly Father, Creator or heaven and earth, I praise and thank you, not only because You have created the invisible world, but also because You have created the heavens and called the numberless Angels into being. You created them most splendidly, endowing them with power and understanding, and pouring out upon them the riches of Your Grace. I praise and thank You for having showered these blessing on the good angels, especially on my Guardian Angel, and for having rewarded them with eternal glory after the time of their probation. Now they surround Your throne forever, singing jubilantly: Holy, holy, holy, Lord God of hosts! Heaven and earth are full of Your glory. Hosanna in the highest!

Eternal Son of God, I honor You as the King of the Angels. Yet You Yourself were pleased to take their name and office and to dwell among men as the messenger of God to mankind. You were the faithful Companion and constant Leader of the chosen people. By Your Incarnation You became the Ambassador of our heavenly Father and the paid the high price of our redemption with Your own blood. For Your greater glory, loving King of the Angels, I wish to praise and honor Your servants, the Holy Angels, especially my own Guardian Angels. In union with these holy angels I adore and revere You as my Saviour and my God.
Holy Spirit, Divine Artist, Finger of God’s right hand, by Your power and love the hosts of the Angels were brought into being to adore and serve God, They do so with constant fidelity and ready obedience. They carry out Your commands with fervent love and holy zeal. Divine Spirit, You also created us in Your likeness and made of our souls Your living temples. I thank You for having given us Your holy Angels to help, protect, and guide us that we may persevere in Your grace throughout life’s journey and safely reach our heavenly home. Help me to be attentive to their guidance that I may do Your holy Will perfectly and at the same time find true happiness in this life and in the next. Amen.

O God, since You have ordained and established the services of men and Angels in a wonderful order, mercifully grant that our life may be defended on earth by those who stand near You ever serving You in heaven. Through Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.

Glorious servants of God surrounding the throne of the Most High, I praise you for that splendor with which God has adorned you so richly. To you He granted the grace to remain faithful when Lucifer and his followers rebelled against God. Implore for me also The grace to persevere in loving God Our Father to the very end. Amen.

Prayers to Our Guardian Angel

My dear Guardian Angel, you were given to me by my merciful God to be my faithful companion and protector of my earthly exile. I honor and love you as my most devoted friend to whom God has entrusted The care of my immortal soul. With all my heart I thank you for your love and constant care of me.
Dearest angel-friend, I beg you to guard and protect me, a poor sinner. Conduct me on the way of life. Warn me against every occasion of sin, and fill my soul with wholesome thoughts and loving encouragement to practice virtue. Intercede for me that I may share in your burning zeal in God’s service and devoted love of His divine Will. Forgive me, loving Guardian Angel when I offend you or our Lord and for so often disregarding your advice in the past and for ignoring your inspirations. I promise in the future to obey you willingly and faithfully. You know the value of my soul in the eyes of God. Never permit me to forget that it was redeemed by the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ, causing our Lord Jesus great pain and suffering. Let no stain of evil disfigure the beauty of my soul, nor any sinful thought or deed rob me of my dignity as a child of God. Keep me from scandal that I may never become an occasion of sin to others and thus destroy the work which Christ has wrought in their souls by His bitter Passion and Death.
Dear Guardian Angel, I thank God who has daily shown His mercy to me through you. May I show my gratitude by following your guidance. May I enjoy your protection in this dangerous journey through life that I may reach my eternal home in heaven, there to praise and enjoy the mercy and love of God towards me, along with all the other angels and saints forever in peace. Guardian Angel Plead with God for me!
My dear Guardian Angel, I beg you to plead with God for me that I may always keep my life pure, holy and happy. Protect me from the many dangers that confront me on my journey through life. Strengthen me in my struggle against the temptations of the world, the flesh, and the devil.
My loving angel-friend, help me to be pure in thought, desire, word, and deed in imitation of Jesus, the Lover of pure souls, and of Mary, the Virgin of virgins, Obtain for me a deep sense of modesty which will be reflected in my external conduct.
I beg you, gentle angel, to be the guardian of my purity. For your great love for Jesus, the King of the angels, and for Mary, the Queen of the angels, keep me from all uncleanliness, and grant that my mind may be unstained, my heart pure, and my body chaste. Help me always to serve Jesus and Mary in perfect chastity, so that one day I may merit to belong to those of whom Jesus spoke; “Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God.” Amen.

To Our Guardian Angel for a Happy Hour of Death

My good Angel; I know not when or how I shall die. It is possible I may be carried off suddenly, and that before my last sigh I may be deprived of all intelligence. Yet how many things I would wish to say to God on the threshold of eternity. In the full freedom of my will today, I come to charge you to speak for me at that fearful moment. You will say to Him, then, O my good Angel: That I wish to die in the Roman Catholic Apostolic Church in which all the saints since Jesus Christ have died. That I ask that grace of sharing in the infinite merits of my Redeemer and that I desire to die in pressing to my lips the cross that was bathed in his blood!
That I detest my sins because they displease Him, and that I pardon through love of Him all my enemies as I wish myself to be pardoned.
That I die willingly because He orders it and that I throw myself with confidence into His adorable Heart awaiting all His Mercy.
That in my inexpressible desire to go to Heaven I am disposed to suffer everything it may please His sovereign Justice to allow me to suffer.
That I love Him before all things above all thing and for His own sake; that I wish and hope to love Him with the Elect, His Angels and the Blessed Mother for all Eternity.
Do not refuse, O my Angel, to be my interpreter with God, and to confess to Him that these are my sentiments and my will. Amen.
